Alternate Language Advisory Group

The Alternate Language Advisory Group works collaboratively with the Registrar of Voters in order to assist the Chinese, Indonesian, Korean, Tagalog, Thai, and Vietnamese speaking communities by providing recommendations for voter education, assistance with outreach activities, and suggestions for bilingual poll worker recruitment

Goals

San Bernardino County Alternate Language Advisory Group Goals:

Increase partnership with community organizations
Disseminate informational written materials to the Chinese, Indonesian, Korean, Tagalog, Thai, and Vietnamese speaking communities
Improve translation of election materials
Proactive recruitment of bilingual poll workers
Provide feedback on Registrar of Voters’ performance
