Lucerne Valley Unified School District Special Recall Election

On August 6, 2015, proponents of a petition to recall Lucerne Valley Unified School District Board Member Dawn Turnbull submitted a sufficient number of signatures to qualify for a recall election. On October 5, 2015, board members of the Lucerne Valley Unified School District passed a resolution calling for a special recall election to be held on February 2, 2016. Registered voters in the Lucerne Valley Unified School District will vote on whether to recall the board member, and then vote for a candidate to replace the member in the event the board member is recalled.

Your voter registration application must be postmarked no later than January 19, 2016 in order for you to be eligible to vote in the Lucerne Valley Unified School District Special Recall Election. Visit our Voter Registration page for complete information and instructions.

Voting Options

  • Vote early at the Elections Office beginning January 4, 2016.
  • Vote a Mail Ballot. The Mail Ballot Application is due by January 26, 2016.  Fill out and return one of the following applications:
