State Senate District 21 Special Primary Election

March 17, 2015

On January 13, 2015, Governor Jerry Brown signed a proclamation calling for a Special Election in State Senate District 21 to fill a vacancy due to the resignation of former Senator Steve Knight. The Special Primary Election date has been set for March 17, 2015. If no candidate receives a majority of the votes, the top two candidates from the Primary will face a runoff during a Special General Election to be held on May 19.
